Building at the intersection of product, people, and technology.

Engineer, lead, systems thinker

Good software starts with clarity.

I’m a full stack engineer who likes hard problems, clean interfaces, and teams that care about the craft.

Over five years at Ninthroot, I’ve led the development of consumer-facing web experiences across distinct brands while contributing to the systems behind them — from a PHP-based framework and CMS to purpose-built internal platforms.

I work comfortably across the stack, but my strongest contribution is connecting the layers: product goals, user experience, system architecture, delivery practices, and the people doing the work.

I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from Utah Valley University with Summa Cum Laude honors. Curiosity still drives how I work: learn the system, ask better questions, and leave things stronger than I found them.

Redis Integration

A production caching layer that turns expensive page builds into fast, observable responses.

I designed and integrated a Redis caching system for a large network of multi-location marketing sites. It dramatically reduced repeat page-build times while adding clear cache-hit logging, performance metrics, and operational visibility for the engineering team.

UVU Feud

A Jackbox-style multiplayer game with distinct player, host, and gameboard experiences.

UVU Feud turns the familiar Family Feud format into a synchronized, multi-screen web game. Socket.io keeps every participant in sync while the Node.js service manages rounds, responses, scoring, and game state.

Across the stack.
Beyond the code.

I move fluidly between interface details, application architecture, delivery systems, and engineering leadership.

How I work

Engineering is a team sport.

01

Make complexity feel simple

Thoughtful architecture underneath, calm and intuitive experiences on the surface.

02

Build for the next change

Flexible systems, clear boundaries, and documentation that make future work easier.

03

Raise the whole team

Practical mentorship, candid feedback, and processes that create momentum without friction.

Have a hard problem?

Let’s build something with staying power.

I’m always interested in ambitious products, thoughtful teams, and engineering challenges where the details matter.
